If you are visiting Seward, the Flamingo Lounge is a must-stop. It’s probably best to have a reservation, but there are bar seats that are open to walk-ins and we were able to grab seats within 10-15 minutes of arriving. The drinks and food were incredible and we loved the service from bartender Ben. The ambiance here is unlike any other spot you’ve been and really puts you in the most fun mood. What a great vibe!! We hope to return again. We had the reindeer meatballs, seafood chowder, and halibut po’ boy. Wouldn’t change a thing!

We ate at a high top in the back because the place was so crowded. The ceiling is a sun pattern and crazy empty liquor bottles are everywhere. It’s a fun look. But the food!!! We started with a crab cake appetizer. Then Absolutely the best salmon I have ever had. Grilled with a blueberry sauce. We shared a bucket of buts. (Halibut deep fried with a wonderful crunchy crust). I would like to return there for another meal before I leave Seward.

What a fun and quirky place! The decor is so retro it feels like you've stepped back in time. The food menu is relatively limited, but everything they do, they do WELL. Everything we ordered was fabulous. The crab cake was sooo fresh. My only regret is that I got the 6 piece bucket of butt and not the 10 piece! The drinks are also very fun and creative- perfect match to the ambiance. Definitely a must try when visiting Seward!
